Two arrested in Glidden on drug carges

GLIDDEN--On Monday June 24, 2019 at approximately 6:25 pm, Colorado County Sheriff's Office Deputy Austin Moore conducted a traffic stop on a suspect vehicle on Old McDonald Lane in Glidden.

After further investigation, Elroy Joseph Wright, 54, Glidden, and Wyatt James Mazac, 19, Columbus, were both arrested for Manufacture /Delivery of a Controlled Substance greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams, a first-degree felony, and Possession of Marijuana greater than 4 ounces less than 5 pounds (a state jail felony).

Additionally, Wright was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon (a third degree felony) and Mazac was charged with Tampering/Fabricate Physical Evidence (a third degree felony). Both were released on June 25 after posting bond set by Justice of the Peace Pct. 4, Stan Warfield.
