Kenneth “Kenny” Neuendorff, 66, of Columbus, passed away June 24 in Columbus.

He was born July 5, 1955 to Floyd Anton Neuendorff and Doris Lucille (Bauer) Neuendorff in Columbus. On Apr. 28, 1984 he married Laura Jane Helms.

Kenny was the owner/operator of Neuendorff Water Well Service, Inc.

He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where he was a Knights of Columbus member. He was also a member of the National Ground Water Association.

Kenny enjoyed being with his family. He loved taking his children camping to Enchanted Rock. When he wasn’t working, he loved taking care of the yard and working in the flower garden. He enjoyed watching old western movies, riding his Harley and taking his wife out to eat. He went to St. Anthony’s Catholic School and went on to Bishop Forest. In his younger years he spent a lot of his time working in the Oil Field, later going to work for his parents and taking over the business.

Kenny is survived by his wife of 38 years, Laura Neuendorff; daughters Julianne Busselman and husband Donald of Columbus and Kaylianne Neuendorff of Columbus; sons Myles Neuendorff and wife Alexa of Corsicana, Kyle Neuendorff and wife Nicole of Columbus, Bryan Neuendorff and wife Allison of Columbus and Sean Neuendorff of Columbus; Godson Blain Fleming of Glidden; sisters Marian Schonenberg and husband Curtiss of Columbus, Sandy Glueck and husband John of Bernardo and Nicki Maertz and husband Clinton of Columbus; brothers Ronnie Neuendorff and wife Sandy of Katy and Freddy Neuendorff and wife Pam of Bernardo; grandchildren Silas, Casper, Jax, Kaiser, James, Haley, Elsie, Ryder, Nicholas and Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Doris Neuendorff.

Visitation was June 28 at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus.

Funeral service was Wednesday, June 29 at Henneke Funeral Home with Deacon John Glueck officiating. Visitation was held before the funeral service.

Burial is in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Columbus.

Pallbearers are Myles Neuendorff, Kyle Neuendorff, Bryan Neuendorff, Donald Busselman, Blain Fleming and Sean Neuendorff.
