The Weimar Ministerial Alliance invites the public to attend a special Community Thanksgiving service at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Weimar Sunday, Nov. 22 at 6 p.m. Worship leaders include Father Wayne Flagg (St. Michael’s), Pastor Herb Beyer (Faith Lutheran Church and Tri-County Cooperative Ministries, ELCA), Pastor Jerry Tanner (Calvary Baptist Church), Pastor Mary Cline (First United Methodist Church), Pastor Herman Powell (St. James A.M.E. Church), and Pastor Gerry Metzger (United Church of Christ).

Pastor Beyer will be delivering this year’s Thanksgiving Message.

“Together, we will give thanks to God with singing, and prayer, and scripture, and a helpful message. As always, our offerings will go to support the ministries of the Weimar Ministerial Alliance to help care for persons in need,” Beyer said.

“The year 2020 has brought many challenges, but even in the most difficult of times, God is always blessing us, if we take time to realize that. Come join us in giving thanks to God for all He has done for us, for all He is doing for us, and for all He will do for us.”
