Mazel was born in 1943 to Roger Prince and Lucille Williams in Oklahoma City, OK. She moved to Eagle Lake at an early age and finished school at E.H. Henry High School. She accepted Christ and was baptized under Rev. Shorter and later under the leadership of Rev. Truman Scott Sr. of Greater Rising Star. She was dedicated to her business (Zanzibar), fishing, and camping.

Mazel was called home Apr. 15.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Theodore; sons: Michael (Kathryn), Jessie, and Willie Jr.; daughter/niece, Takiesha “Tweety”; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

To celebrate Mazel’s life, the family has entrusted the professional services to Ben Davis Funeral Home of Columbus.
