THE COLUMBUS BOYS GOLF team battled mother nature as well as the golf course at the LaGrange Invitational recently.

With a starting temperature of 39 degrees, misty rain, and a biting wind-conditions for golf were not optimal.

The Cardinals persevered in the abbreviated nine hole format to bring home their fifth consecutive team title on the 2019 season.

Posting the following nine hole scores were: Drew Schobel with 57, Tyler Pawlik with 54, Dylan Fayette with 52, Hayden Heffley with 47, Austin Pflughaupt with 43, Ty Thomas with 41, Brock Schobel with 41 and Carson Wray with 39.

Carson’s score of 39 was good enough for second place individual.

The boys will next be in action as half will go to Weimar Wednesday, and half will go to Waller Thursday.
