CHS TAKES HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW BY STORM

    The Columbus FFA’s herdsmanship team placed first of 69 teams in the Jr. breeding heifer herdsman competition, earning for themselves $800, a plaque, and a belt buckle.

    Zane and Brooke Wanjura competed in the public speaking contest, and they progressed out of preliminary round. Brook placed 15 in the junior division, and Zane placed 10 in the senior division.

    Brittany Koehl and Simbra Ruby placed fourth place in their class of 16.
