Read moreOn Thursday, Aug 17, 2023, Eagle Lake Noon Lions Club member Sam Kana introduced the program guest speaker Jamy Dingler, Volunteer Coordinator for Rice High School All-Sports Booster Club. Jamy is a 1993 graduate of Rice High School, where her son now attends. Jamy highlighted two goals of the Booster Club: First: To raise enough funding to award a scholarship to students participating in at least 3 sports each year during the four years of High School plus completing the service work required. The club gives an average of $8,000 per year in scholarships. Second: To give back to the Athletic programs at Rice tangible things such as equipment that will benefit more than one sport.
