The Columbus Fire Dept got dispatched to a gravel pit shaker tower that was fully involved. Garwood Fire Dept requested mutual aid from us, Eagle Lake and Rock Island VFD’s mostly for tanker support for Tower 14’s operation. This truck uses 1000 gallons of water a minute during operation. Columbus Fire Dept Tower 14 was required to extinguish the upper decks and the shaker assembly. This fire was at Alleyton Resources near Altair. No one was injured.
