The title of this article sounds like a good ol’ country-western song. In fact, it is not. Therefore, I permit Darrel Appelt to use that as a title for his next album! The expression “It seems just like yesterday” could be a misnomer considering I am at the age that I frequently forget what I did yesterday. I frequently forget why I even went into a room mom ents before! Sometimes I wish yesterday never was. There are things said or done that I wish never happened. It would be a long road back- a long yesterday back- to put things together again. I wonder how many “yesterdays” I would like to have back and do a “doover.” Tomorrow never comes, and we don’t even know if we will get through today. Dianne, my wife of 44 years this past week, came up with a list of things we may regret that we didn’t do or should have done.
