Read moreFayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that just after noon Monday, Apr. 13 a 911 call came in reporting a truck fire on S. Scott St. near the railroad tracks in Fayetteville. The Fayetteville Fire Department responded to the scene along with Deputy Ben Wilson. Upon arrival, smoke was noted to come from the box truck which was used for shredding paper. The fire was extinguished with foam. The cause of the fire was determined to have started by the grinder in the truck that shreds the paper.
