There was a good showing and lots of delicious food Sunday, Nov. 15 at the Courthouse square for the annual Taste of Columbus event benefitting the Boys & Girls Club of Champion Valley. The world is a warmer place thanks to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Columbus by handmaking quilts and sending them around the world. A team of quilters have been gathering for more years than the most senior members can remember and churning out stacks of warm quilts made with love from women with a Christian heart. This year was no exception.

On Tuesday, Nov. 10, Court St. Roch of Mentz Catholic Daughters No. 2328 served lunch, prepared by Pilsner’s Café, to the officers and staff of Columbus Police Department, Sheriff’s Department, and the Department of Public Safety.
