Mayor Mary Parr swore in Officer Buckley as Sergeant for the Eagle Lake Police Department Jan. 4. Buckley has honorably served as an officer for the ELPD before being promoted by Chief Federico Garza Jr. to the position of Sergeant. Buckley was joined by family and fellow ELPD staff members.
