In the book, Alma has a worry stone in her pocket that helps her think of good memories and make the fear of the moment go away. Students made their own worry stones with colored clay, and their teacher, Mrs. Sommerlatte, baked them in the oven. Now each student can carry their own worry stone in their pocket and rub it anytime they feel worried.

The Columbus team swam against La Grange. On Saturday, June 21st the Columbus CATfish Swim Team (CST) traveled to Camp Lonestar in LaGrange to compete in their last dual swim meet of the season. Read moreAccording to the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA), the association selects 28 All- Stars from conference 1-2-3A and 28 All-Stars from conference 4-5A. These athletes are selected by the TGCA Softball Committee, which is composed of softball member coaches of the association, at their annual meeting. Selections are made from nominations submitted by member coaches. Athletes must be Juniors to be selected.
