My name is Mackenzie Guard, and while I am at Texas ChalleNGe Academy, I go by the name of Cadet Private Guard. For the most part, I enjoy my time at TCA even though there are some difficult moments. But the thing is, we usually bring the difficult times on ourselves.

She is a freshman this year, is a member of Student Council, Book Club, and Girls on Fire. Ariana is also on the track, basketball, softball, and volleyball team. Her favorite class and teachers are World Geography with Mr. Dowling and Ms. Q. Outside of school, Ariana spends her time playing sports, swimming, and spending time with her family. Trost was selected as cadet of the week for demonstrating resilience, since the beginning of the program. He is respectful, mature, and displays excellent leadership qualities. When a task is assigned to him, he always completes it successfully and goes above and beyond the expectations. Trost is from North Richland Hills. He attended Richland High School prior to enrolling at the Texas ChalleNGe Academy. Trost is determined to focus on his academics and hopes to earn his GED.
