Weimar falls to Flatonia
Both the Weimar Wildcats and Ladycats fell short with their games against the Flatonia Bulldogs on Tuesday, Jan. 5. Wildcat Joey Ramirez led the team with 25 total points, one assist, and two steals. Josey Ramirez was the next high scorer with 10 points, one assist, and three steals. The Wildcats lost 49-44.
Ladycat Malarie Mican was the high scorer for the girls, with eight points, two assists, and one steal. Following her was Skylar Heger with seven total points and two steals.
The Wildcats are 1-2 in the district. Their next games will be Jan. 15 with Bloomington away and Jan. 19 against Louise in Weimar.
The Ladycats, who are currently 3-2 in district play, will host both Bloomington and Louise on the same dates.
