Read moreMay 3 – 7 was Teacher Appreciation Week, and Industry State Bank wanted to join in on showing support and appreciation to the teachers in the local communities. On May 6, the teachers at all of the Columbus ISD schools and at St. Anthony’s Catholic School received breakfast tacos to start off their day, and on May 7, the teachers at West End Elementary received a roast beef luncheon with cookies. These meals were offered to give thanks to all of the teachers and staff for all of the hard work they put in year-round with their students.

On average, a motorcyclist is killed in a crash on Texas roads every day—last year 482 died. Motorcyclists account for 12% of all traffic fatalities statewide.
