Turtle Wing Foundation will partner with Schulenburg/Weimar Area Parents as Teachers to provide quality training for early childhood educators, daycare providers, their staff, and all parents of young children. The next training will be on Thursday, June 4 from 6-8 p.m. at the Schulenburg ISD Cafeteria. The presenter is Loueva Hatfield, M. Ed. Mrs. Hatfield is the founder of Hatch, a learning habitat and consulting firm (http://www.hatchlearning.com/). The program will cover “Creating An Age Appropriate Preschool Curriculum For 0-2 Year Olds.”Objectives to be covered include but may not be limited to: Curriculum Goals for 0-2 Year Olds; The Five R’s of Early Education; Age Appropriate Teaching Methods and Schedules, and Infant and Toddler Engagement Tracking. Two workshop hours will be provided for those needing continuing education for their work place.
